Eligible vehicles

To the event are admitted cars built until 1968 both front and rear wheel drive. Competitors must provide one of the following car documents:
• HTP FIA (Historic Technical Passport FIA)
• HRCP FIA (Historic Regularity Car Pass FIA)
• FIVA Identity Card

Entries

Competitors who wish to partecipate in 22nd edition of the Winter Marathon must submit their entry form by Sunday 22 November 2009, following the instructions on the website www.wintermarathon.it by clicking on “Entry” link.
Entries, that must be sent to VECARS S.n.c. - Piazzale Europa, 65 - 25068 Sarezzo BS Italy, must be submitted on-line and accompained by the entry fee of Euro 1.300,00 including the sports registration and hospitality.

Route

The route will have a total length of 392,190 km. There will be 36 precision time trials (PC), 6 time controls (CO) and 1 passage control (CT).
The event will take place on roads open to normal traffic with an average speed not exceeding 42,000 km/h.

Classification

The worst precision time trial (PC) of each competitor will not be taken in consideration for the final classification.
The addition of all the penalties acquired by each competitor will be multiplied by a coefficient obtained from the manufacturing year of the car, according to the examples below.
Car made in: 1925 = coefficient: 1,25
Car made in: 1940 = coefficient: 1,40
Car made in: 1957 = coefficient: 1,57
