Barcella-Ghidotti on a 1938 Fiat 508 C win the Veriwatch Trophy on the frozen lake

Overcome in the final Sangiovanni brothers, third place for Barcella-Rossoni; the Sparco Trophy goes to britains Ottochian-Drayson

On Saturday 20 January – after the forced stop in 2023 – the show on the frozen lake of Madonna di Campiglio returned with the two trophies reserved respectively for the first 8 foreign crews and the first 32 classified overall of the Winter Marathon.

In the new Sparco Trophy success of the young english crew made up of Edoardo Ottochian and George Drayson on a 1960 Austin Mini Cooper S Mk I (with no. 32) which in the final prevealed over the 1968 Alfa Romeo 1750 GT Veloce of the swiss team of Edoardo Tasciotti and Giovanni De Luca; third place for the nice russian crew composed by Vadim Utkin and Alexey Rumyantsev on a 1968 Lancia Fulvia GT.

In the 1st edition of the Veriwatch Trophy success of Guido Barcella and Ombretta Ghidotti on a 1938 Fiat 508 C (no. 6) that in the final got the better of the 1959 Porsche 356 A Coupé of Celestino and Oreste Sangiovanni brothers (competing with no. 53). Completing the podium the 1963 Porsche 356 C Coupé of Nicola Barcella (n° 10) which, after being eliminated by his parents in the semi-final, navigated by Simone Rossoni defeated the winners of the Winter Marathon, Bellini and Tiberti, in the final for 3rd-4th place.
