Turelli-Turelli win the Sparco Trophy on the frozen lake

Winners of the Winter Marathon Aliverti-Merlo defeated in the final, third place for the youngsters Vecchi-Soldo; the Zero Time Trophy for the US team Gessler-Webster

On Saturday 25 January the show on the frozen lake of Madonna di Campiglio resumed with the two trophies reserved respectively for the first 8 foreign crews and the first 32 classified in the Winter Marathon.

In the ZERO TIME Trophy the victory went to the American crew composed of Mark Gessler and Lawrence Webster on a 1971 Lancia Fulvia Sport 1.3 S (with the n° 34) who in the final prevailed over the 1983 Porsche 924 Turbo of the Greeks Polykarpos Notaras and Petros Christopoulos; third step of the podium for the Portuguese crew composed of Duarte Freitas and Ana Margarida Dias on a 1974 MG B Roadster.

In the SPARCO Trophy, victory for Lorenzo and Mario Turelli on a 1937 Lancia Aprilia (no. 4) who in the final overturned the result of the Winter Marathon by getting the better of the 1937 Fiat 508 C of Alberto Aliverti and Yuri Merlo (racing with no. 2) who only just missed the feat of winning both the race and the lake trophy in the same edition. Completing the podium is the 1951 Lancia Appia C10S driven by the very young Michele Vecchi and Gabriele Soldo (no. 41) who, in the final for 3rd-4th place, prevailed over Fabbri-Cipriani on board their 1968 Volvo 122S.
